LAST ORDERING DATES FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY 2016

Christmas is just around the corner, so here are the LAST RECOMMENDED Christmas Ordering Dates for delivery by Christmas.

PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ORDERING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE AS WE ARE ALWAYS VERY BUSY IN DECEMBER:)

  • Africa, Middle East by Friday 2nd December (10am, UK time)
  • Cyprus, Asia, Far East (including Japan), Eastern Europe (except Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia) – by Tuesday 6th December (10am, UK time)
  • Caribbean, Central & South America – by Wednesday 7th December (10am UK time)
  • Australia, Greece, New Zealand – by Friday 9th December (10am UK time)
  • Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland – by Tuesday 13th December (10am UK time)
  • Canada, Finland, Sweden, USA – by Wednesday 14th December (10am UK time)
  • Austria, Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland – by Thursday 15th December (10am UK time)
  • Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg – by Friday 16th December (10am UK time)
  • UK 2nd Class - by Monday 19th December (10am UK time)
  • UK 1st Class - by Tuesday 20th December (10am UK time)

We will continue posting orders out after these dates up to and including 10am on Friday 23rd December. Unless you have ordered by the cut-off dates above, there are NO GUARANTEES that your order will arrive before Christmas.

Despatch / Delivery Times

We aim to post your order within 2 working days of receiving it.  If there is going to be a delay, we will let you know via email. 

A lot of customers place orders over the weekend, so we are always very busy on a Monday and Tuesday.  On a Monday we aim to post orders placed on Friday and Saturday, and on a Tuesday, we aim to post orders placed on Sunday and Monday. 

When your order has been posted, we will send you confimation via email.

Delivery Times

Once we have posted your order, please understand that we have NO control over how long it takes to get to you!  This is down to the mail services in each country. See below for estimated delivery times. 

UK Orders

  • UK orders sent out using First or Second Class "Signed For" service require a signature on delivery
  • You should normally receive your products within 5 working days of posting. Please notify us if you do not receive your goods within this time.
  • If you are OUT when the Royal Mail try to deliver your package, they will leave a card where a signature is required on delivery.
  • PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU COLLECT YOUR PACKAGE, OTHERWISE IT WILL BE RETURNED TO US. If this happens and we need to post the order out for a second time, there will be an additional charge for postage.
  • If your order is damaged when you receive it, please let us know within 2 working days. Any damaged goods / packaging MUST be kept in case they need to be inspected as part of the claim for compensation, and  you will be asked for photographic evidence.
  • Once your order has been posted it is the responsibility of the Royal Mail to deliver it.
  • ROYAL MAIL DOES NOT CONSIDER A PACKAGE TO BE LOST UNTIL 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF POSTING.

All Other Countries

Orders to Europe are usually delivered within 3-5 working days of posting.
Orders for the Rest Of The World, it takes around 7-10 working days, sometimes longer depending on Customs. Please note that these are ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES provided by the mail services.

  • For orders outside the UK, the recipient is responsible for paying any additional charges / duties / taxes etc. Gorgeous Guineas are only responsible for paying the postage costs from the UK.
  • Gorgeous Guineas obtain a Proof Of Posting for each order.
  • Unless you add International Signed For to your order, there is no way of tracking it as it will be sent via ordinary Air Mail.
  • If an order is lost or damaged, Gorgeous Guineas will put in a claim for compensation from the Royal Mail.
  • If your order is damaged when you receive it, please let us know within 2 working days. Any damaged goods / packaging MUST be kept in case they need to be inspected as part of the claim for compensation, and you will be asked to provide photographic evidence.
  • ROYAL MAIL DOES NOT CONSIDER A PACKAGE TO BE LOST UNTIL 25 DAYS FTER THE DATE OF POSTING.
PLEASE NOTE: if you do NOT choose to add International Signed For to your order, we have no way of tracking it. Claims for lost orders cannot be put in to the Royal Mail until 25 working days after the goods have been posted.

Order and Payment

Please note: Acceptance of payment does not constitute acceptance of an order. Gorgeous Guineas reserve the right to reject an order for whatever reason, even if payment has been processed, in which case payment will be refunded in full. Acceptance of an order is at the sole discretion of Gorgeous Guineas.

• Orders will be accepted via the website or by post (by post for UK ONLY, not international orders).
• Orders from outside the UK can only be paid for using PayPal / Nochex unless you have a UK bank account.
• Goods will be shipped when payment is received in full.
• Payment can be made using your Debit / Credit card.  Online processing is by PayPal or Nochex. Customers with a UK bank account can also pay by direct bank transfer. 
• Orders are all sent via First Class / Second Class or Signed For within the UK, and via Airmail or International Signed For to the rest of the world.
• Once packets have been posted, we have NO control over what happens to them or how long the mail service in your country takes to deliver it.

Returns Policy

• We do our best to provide accurate descriptions of our products. If you wish to return unused and unopened item to us, please notify us by email and state the reason for return.

• We will contact you to arrange a refund of your money (less postage costs) once we receive the returned goods. Goods are returned at your own expense.

• You have a statutory duty to take reasonably care of the products while they are in your possession and to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they do not get damaged in transit.

• Please return the unused and unopened goods in the original packaging and obtain a Proof Of Posting and receipt for the postage cost from your Post Office. We cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in the post.


Cancellations

• Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order. This cancellation right ends 14 working days after the day on which you receive your order.
• If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us by email. Full refunds will be processed within 30 days.
• When you cancel a contract you must return the goods to us if the have already been posted out to you.
